Ever since your post about Kraja, it has been All Kraja, All the Time at my house. Every time I turn on the computer I am surrounded by little girls clamoring for Kraja videos. I think we have watched every recording of them on YouTube. Have you seen the one about “Lars Persson”? The tune is wonderful and the words are charming. Here is a rough translation (by a Swede, it seems) provided under the video:

Lars Persson has proposed to me in these days, but he greatly betrays himself if he thinks he pleases me.
He had cow, he had goat, he had house, he had fields.
He had a fat sow, he had boat and nets.
He fools himself if he thinks he will get me, but he has so fair eyes.
I don’t care about cows or goats, and not about his meadows.
I don’t care about house or fields, and not about his money. And just the same, I think about his beautiful eyes.

Laura Wood writes:

Compare with Miley Cyrus’ song Can’t be Tamed:

For those who don’t know me, I can get a bit crazy
Have to get my way, 24 hours a day
‘Cause I’m hot like that
Every guy everywhere just gives me mad attention
Like I’m under inspection, I always get the 10s
‘Cause I’m built like that
