One More Marriage Bites the Dust

Here’s a great comment from an article at The Spearhead:

“You make laws that allow women to be irresponsible, a greater portion of them will be irresponsible. …

I have met way too many women who have made complete trainwrecks out of their lives, and tried (and often succeeded) at pulling as many men down with them along the way (usually out of imagined spite – based on fictional musings of oppressions past).”

My brother is seeing this first hand. His wife of 12 years is divorcing him for a litany of perceived offenses.  He’s not an abuser of women or substances, just an average Joe Beta male. The other day he picked up his children only to be met by her shrewish mother who exclaimed her daughter had to check herself into a psych ward for a few days, and of course it was his fault. He replied, “Not my fault.” She spat out a retort: “Everything is your fault!”

This woman is a perfect example of an embittered shrew victim of feminism who as this article describes has spiraled down from relationship to relationship and is now dragging her daughter and grandchildren with her too. And, I’m not absolving her daughter, who is a prototypical young feminist ever pursuing education, and “career” advancement while believing she’s a great mother (hardly) who has chosen to pin all of her failing ambitions and the grim reality of her state on my brother. In reality, she’s barely qualified to be a bureaucrat pushing papers at some government agency, little more. Now that’s she’s stepped out and is reliant on her mother and her current dolt of a sucker male, she’s starting to realize the cold hard reality that although she’s been coddled by the school system, her mother and society and told she is truly special and capable of anything she sets her mind and heart on, she really isn’t very gifted and is rather ordinary and is destined for a grim life floating on government handouts and crappy paper-pusher jobs with no real future. It’s all very sad really and pathetic. But it’s hard to have much sympathy for her after what she’s done to my brother and my nephews. My brother will eventually land on his feet, be the better for it and move on. Odds are she’ll still be cursing his name while she whiles away time alone living on Social Security if it even still exists by the time she hits 70.
