I didn’t know Newt Gingrich had a THIRD wife! I knew that he was divorced and remarried; I knew that he had a second wife. That shows how far behind the times I am. What’s sad is that Newt Gingrich is an idol of conservatives in America…

You may be interested in this piece in Esquire from last summer. It includes an interview with his second wife and this comment from Gingrich:
There’s a large part of me that’s four years old. I wake up in the morning and I know that somewhere there’s a cookie. I don’t know where it is but I know it’s mine and I have to go find it. That’s how I live my life. My life is amazingly filled with fun.
That’s how he lives his life, searching for a “cookie.”
