Trading Safety for Jobs

It suddenly dawned on me this morning that with the ongoing feminization of the police and military, a watershed has been crossed, a step that demonstrates the profound unreality of modern life.

How could women ever have gotten themselves to the point where the idea of having large numbers of women working as police and soldiers and sailors and pilots (i.e. the ‘need’ for enhanced career opportunities for women) would take precedence over their own safety and the safety of their children? That is a really remarkable level of unreality – and one which I fear will elicit a terrible price if or when equal opportunity, mixed-sex police forces and combat units (with female/feminized commanders) come up against all-male gangs and armies.

While superior technology may initially provide some balance, there can only be one outcome in the end given the crucial role of human beings in all conflicts. And this result will be at the opposite extreme from the aspirations of PC-feminism. These facts are not even debatable. Yet feminist political correctness has already made the choice, and has chosen the careerism of some women over the safety of all women.

Let’s not forget that the most important problem is that it’s not their safety that is being compromised, but ours (i.e., everyone’s safety). The purpose of the police, firefighters, and the military is not to provide jobs for women but to protect society. To the extent that female police, firefighters, and members of the military are ineffective, our social and national safety is compromised. That we permit this indicates that our society is profoundly sick, even suicidal. Our society simply is not serious about protecting itself from crime, fire, or external threats. As Bruce says, at some point we are destined for a painful collision with reality.

Tangentially related but interesting I think, is how many tiny women go into law enforcement. I often see women who can’t be more than 5’2” wearing the uniform. They’re not even normal-sized white women. This is further evidence of the insanity of modern life.

Interesting.

Jayme Biendl, the prison guard recently killed in Washington State, is one example. She was a small woman. Now that I think of it, I do see many women who are stocky and small in uniform.
