My young teenaged daughter and I have been discussing the corollary: It is not the knock-down handsome man who will necessarily make a wonderful lifelong mate, but the young man who is considerate to his mother or sister, a steady and kind friend, a man not afraid of hard work, doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God.
