Thanks. This Winslow Homer painting comes to life for me. I spent two years building a house atop these same Maine cliffs. I climbed, walked and sat on them many times. I sited my client’s house next door to the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, as close to the cliffs as legally possible; 75 feet from a high cliff’s edge. My favorite place in the world to eat breakfast was next door at the Sea Gull restaurant; an everything-omelet and blueberry pancakes to die for. The dining room’s windows all looked down on the expansive rock cliffs that calmly deal with the moody Atlantic ocean.
