I know you don’t need additional reasons to continue your work, but here is one anyway: the seeds you plant and water are growing into plants, fruits and flowers. Here is one of them. That’s the blog I began last January.

Kolia Karamazov is a nom de plume inspired from Dostoevsky’s characters, as you may have guessed. Writing on a blog was only possible after a long maturation. Your work at The Thinking Housewife has contributed a lot to this process. On the first day or so, I put a link toward your site in my blogroll. I hope it increases (a bit) the number of French speaking persons in your readership.

There is no equivalent to The Thinking Housewife in French, but we are getting better in foreign languages so it’s not so much a problem. The strengths and weaknesses are not the same on both sides of the Atlantic. You have the second amendment and great traditionalist websites, we have the Manif Pour Tous. I’ve noticed that liberals are very good at importing the worst from foreign countries. “Your” liberals want European-style social security and a ban on guns. “Ours” imitate American gays and feminists and want affirmative action. I think we traditionalists should do the same, not with the worst things of course, but with the best.
