Coming to a “Catholic” Church Near You
April 9, 2014
WHO are you to judge?
There are several links at Novus Ordo Watch about the baptism last week of a child of lesbian “mothers” at the Cathedral of Cordoba in Argentina, initially reported at Tradition in Action. It was all done with the approval of the Novus Ordo hierarchy and the enthusiastic support of Argentinian President Cristina Kirchner, who is the godmother (she is shown in the photo held by one of the “mothers.”) There is nothing spontaneous or unexpected about this. It’s the culmination of many years of revolutionary theology within the phony church. Waiting for the congratulation call from Francis and official surveys — funded by left-wing Jews — of the American “Catholic” idiocracy saying it fully approves.
Poor baby. Just a little political pawn of worldwide revolution. The two rather non-maternal figures flanking the couple are the mothers of the “mothers.” This maternal hit squad, absent of men, will apparently guide this little one toward her future of maladjustment.
Below is Francis, the pseudo-pope, kissing President Kirchner in gratitude for a gift last year.

I too am very sad for this baby. These women have all of the right props for their show…in a Catholic Church, baby in arms, approving looks of their mothers…and lots of photos of them kissing? I’ve had seven children baptized, and have yet to have a picture taken of my husband and I with locked lips while holding our newly baptized child. Absolute scandal…all of it.

I think the kiss is supposed to make it like a wedding too. In fact, they are now reportedly demanding a church wedding.
This baby will probably have affection and maybe lots of material things, but not true love.

Did you notice how horribly these lesbians are dressed for this occasion? If they are that confused about fashion, I can’t imagine how confused they are about so many other things as women. Obviously, since they are kissing other women, the clothes are only the icing on the cake. This particular aspect of the photos really shows their absurdity, however, in an age where we’ve all become accustomed to seeing homosexual perverts act out their “love” in public. At least we can still tell a good dresser from a bad one.
I can’t say that this isn’t disturbing. I don’t know what to make of it. I don’t understand why God would allow this to happen. He is not dead, and He does love us, even if He is angry with us.

I agree that there is a lot wrong with the situation. It is deplorable. However, I have a question. Would it be right to deny the poor baby baptism, as she has done nothing wrong? It seems to me that to refuse to baptize the baby would be doing an injustice to an innocent child. Should sacraments be withheld from children based on the behavior of their parents? I am not asking to antagonize anyone. It just seems to me that children being raised in terrible circumstances such as the baby’s may be the most in need of the effects of baptism, and I hate to see children punished for the actions of their parents.
Laura writes:
Historically, as far as I know, the Church has not baptized the children of non-Catholics unless they were going to be living with Catholic guardians. The parents are so much part of the child’s spiritual life, it does not make sense any other way. After all, it is the parents and only the parents or legal guardians (except in cases of extreme illness) who have the authority to seek baptism for a child. For what reason would a non-Catholic (or sinner who publicly rejects Church teaching absolutely) choose baptism other than to undermine or mock the sacrament? How could that be good for the child? Under canon law, non-Catholics cannot raise a Catholic child. There is the famous and highly controversial case of Edgardo Mortara who was removed from his Jewish parents by Pope Pius IX after he received an emergency baptism.
