Midterm Elections Saw No Serious Demographic Shifts

THE Republicans can only win a presidential race by becoming more and more like the Democrats, while somehow signaling through image-making to their traditional supporters that they are really not like the Democrats. That is the obvious conclusion to be drawn from recent history, including the 2014 midterm elections. The recent GOP triumph was largely due to lower voter turnout among the young.
