JEANETTE V. writes:

After failing all year to pass a bill in 15 states, activists scrambled together for a cheap PR move right before Christmas. Therapy for confused adolescents will no longer be legal in D.C. Merry Christmas to pedophiles in Washington, D.C.! There will be plenty of access to young boys from now on.

These homosexual activists and their fellow travelers are evil. They are willing to let children suffer and perhaps die in pain to promote their sinful and degenerate agenda.

I sent your post to a like-minded friend, and he wrote back something which I am still laughing about, “They look like evil villains from a Hollywood comedy! Look at them.” Yes, go back and look at the picture: the chubby lady whose jacket barely buttons; the very tall blond gal, the almost bald twerp with the pink mohawk, and the two nerdy-looking guys who seem to have come out of grade B central casting. Even the smirk on the mayor’s face is wonderful. Truth is stranger even than satire! I am enjoying the laugh at the expense of these poor, disgusting people.

Perfesser Plum writes:

Perusing the inmates, left to right, we have

1.  The always schlumpy, Marge  “Guess I’ll have me some” Pie. A Hubbard Squash stuffed into a pants suit. One deep breath and her jacket explodes. Looking on, she asks, “Why do they always put me at the far end? Is it the sleeves?”

2.  Doris Karloff,  a transvestite, or perhaps a transgendered entity.  The Hulk in a pants suit.

3. Ned “Penny” McWhistle, The Last of the Mohican Carrots, gay version.

4.  Mel “Honest Mel” Packingcrate, used car salesmen with a kinked up neck.

5. Barney Mouthbreather, the last of the pinsetters, at Fred’s Bowl and Curl.  Our motto: “You’re already here.  Might as well get a perm.”

6. Milton “Scivies” McPerv, signer, holds pen like a first grader.  His motto:  “I like first graders.”

Terry Morris writes:

From the article cited:

“These actions will protect young people from a practice that … personal testimony from youth have shown can create dangerous and even life-threatening effects, including depression, decreased self-esteem, substance abuse and suicidal behavior.”

Yes, personal testimony from deeply troubled youth convinced (wonder how that happened!) their unnatural sexual impulses and attractions ought to be regarded as, not only normal and perfectly natural, but also heralded as highly laudable and even heroic. Especially when they act out on them. Yeah, that’s a reliable source of perfectly honest testimony!

Such idiotic statements wouldn’t be all that disturbing, considering the source, were it not for the fact that we now live in a culture that won’t dismiss them (along with the morons who make them) out of hand. At this point I just hope and pray I can manage to get the rest of my children raised to adulthood without “divine” government interference forcing me to make the choice between handing them over to the state, or teaching them that inordinate sexual behaviorisms are good and acceptable and normal, because I could simply never agree to the latter given the choice and regardless of the consequences. Bad set of choices all around!

God help us all!

Dan R. writes:

How ironic: going to the link, there’s an ad that appeared smack-dab in the middle of the article for a “men’s lounge.”

That “conversion therapy” is discredited is one of the leading cliches of the H-Rights movement, along with the favorite that keeps the whole scam going: “Born This Way.”  However, if they’re actually right about all this, then please–ASAP–find something that will help keep teens from this kind of future.

Paul T. writes:

The D.C. goons (citing only the “personal testimony of youth”) purport to be concerned about therapy that “can create dangerous and even life-threatening effects, including depression, decreased self-esteem, substance abuse and suicidal behavior”

As I believe was mentioned on a previous thread, there was apparently a Swedish study a couple of years back showing that 40% of post-operative transsexuals committed suicide during the period studied.

Surely that’s an even worse outcome statistic than anything that could be reported in regards to therapy aimed at undoing homosexuality? So the goons should naturally be pressed to follow up with a legislative initiative aimed at banning ‘sexual reassignment surgery’.

After looking at the photo, I wonder if these are not crisis actors staging an event for the press. With no captions naming them, it is hard to tell.
