Does Feminism Lead to Islam?

First of all, my best wishes for the New Year, and I hope that your blog will last many more years.
Secondly, I have a question to you and your readers: Could it be that the logical and eventual conclusion following from feminist premises is conversion to Islam?
Recently, two young free-spirited women from Italy went to Syria to provide aid to refugees there, and ignored the pleas from their fathers and family not to go. Unsurprisingly, the women have been kidnapped by Islamic militants and appeared in a video wearing niqabs.
I would like to contrast that news with this opinion piece by Muslim feminist Theresa Corbin and this article by ex-Muslim Eve Ahmed. Nowadays, many feminists and careerists are converting to Islam, a religion that they consider better equipped to their needs and goals.
Hence, it appears to me that feminist logic will eventually lead to an Islamic conclusion. The feminist will either conclude herself that the only proper way to distance herself from the evil white, Christian patriarchy is to go for its greatest competitor –Islam– or her naiveté will lead her into a situation where she will be forced into Islam anyway.
If this is indeed the case, then it is a strong argument in support of the theory that feminism is actually undermining womanhood and creating a much worse form of oppression of the true feminine.

Thank you. Happy New Year to you.
Here are a few thoughts on your question:
The logic of feminism does not lead to Islam. The results of feminism do. Feminism causes social chaos and any society which is feminist and also allows free reign to Islam will have a significant number of male and female converts.
In general, however, it is not necessary to tie feminism with Islamic conversions. Islam will spread wherever it is allowed to be practiced publicly. It’s as simple as that. People convert to Islam for various reasons — spiritual, political and social. A portion of all Muslim communities are involved in aggressive proselytism. Muslims prefer to live and associate with other Muslims. Islam will naturally grow in the West simply because it is permitted to be practiced freely and openly. Western notions of tolerance embrace Muslim converts. There are not severely negative social consequences for most Westerners to converting to Islam.
Judging from personal observation, I would say most female Muslim converts in Britain and America are not high-profile career women but lower class women who may be drawn to the machismo of Muslim men and the strict social code, which is a welcome escape from the chaos of sexual liberation and feminism.

It’s free rein, not free reign. Think horses!
One gives a horse free rein so the horse can use whichever pace he wants…..
I know this phrase is often misspelled, but….. free rein is it!

Thank you for the correction.
I knew that, but I forgot.
