I never use profanity in the presence of a female using profanity even though my brain screams to hit her when an argument has begun. Men do it to one another to avoid a fistfight, unthinkable with a female. It is a big turnoff for me when a woman curses.

Having worked all of my adult life on ships (both military and merchant), logging, and the oilfield, I can say that the average American woman, with her tattoos, foul mouth, and raunchy talk, is close to your average sailor or roughneck in her mannerisms.
