Black Mobs at Malls

February 24, 2015

COLIN FLAHERTY looks at 25 violent incidents at malls since Christmas:

At Pittsfield Township, near Ann Arbor, more than 100 black people attacked patrons and police and destroyed property, first at a movie theater, then an arcade, then a restaurant. Two were arrested.

At Ocoee, Florida, near Orlando, 800 to 1000 black people tried to rush into a theater without paying, then created violence in the lobby and the parking lot, where they defied police, destroyed property and assaulted others.

Two incidents occurred at the Centre at Salisbury Mall on the Eastern Shore. According to Delmarva Now:

At about 8 p.m. Saturday, “two females” began fighting, drawing spectators, [Capt. Rich] Kaiser said. The incident was handled quickly by SPD officers and Centre security. There no injuries and no arrests, and the females were ejected from the mall.

A second incident occurred about an hour and a half later, involving a bus from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Too many people tried to ride the bus back to campus, and some grew upset after being told they would have to leave the bus due to over-occupancy, Kaiser said.

“This again was handled quickly and calmed with no further problems or reports of injuries,” Kaiser said.

Your recent article about black mobs reminded me of this Ann Barnhardt post from September 2012 about Matthew Bracken’s piece on mob violence.
