The Big Money Behind “Transgendered Rights”

April 20, 2015

AT Gulag Bound, Cliff Kincaid writes:

Years ago the idea of a man dressing like or appearing as a woman was good for some laughs. Comedian Flip Wilson evoked that response as the character “Geraldine.” Corporal Klinger did likewise in the comedy show MASH.

But now we’re supposed to take all of this seriously. It’s tempting to laugh now, except that the campaign for transgendered rights has big money and Big Media behind it.

The Washington Post just ran a huge front page story on Shane Ortega, who has served three combat tours, two as a woman and one as a man. He was a woman who became a man, but who is still a woman in the eyes of the military. As the United States is facing threats around the world, our military is currently wrestling with the problem of what to do about Shane Ortega. The Post will make sure this remains on the top of the military’s priority list.

Who’s behind this drive for “transgender” rights?

Three names jump out at you: the Arcus Foundation, the Gill Foundation and the Open Society Foundations.

The executive director of the Arcus Foundation is Kevin Jennings. Remember him? He was the Obama-appointed Education Department official whose life of homosexual activism was inspired by Harry Hay, the Communist Party member and “Radical Faerie” who believed in the power of the occult. Hay started the gay rights movement in the U.S.

The Gill Foundation is named for Timothy Gill of Denver, the founder of Quark, Inc., a computer software company, and a tech multimillionaire. He says he has singlehandedly “invested more than $220 million” in the cause of homosexual rights through his Gill Foundation.

Finally, the Open Society Foundations are associated with billionaire hedge fund operator George Soros. In 2009 he financed the “New Beginning Initiative” to encourage the Obama administration to make “policy changes” to benefit the homosexual movement.

Mark Jaws writes:

Thanks for this article.  I have always wondered who was behind the financing of this movement.  We in Stafford County have been affected by this issue, as shown on this NBC clip.

What I see as the end game for these LBGT activists is the total dissolution of gender-specific bathrooms and the destruction of the family.

Women who have children will be totally dependent on the State for dependent care, and we will have total submission to the Statists.  By the way, I happened to be one of the 20 parents who spoke out against the policy allowing the boy-turned-girl to use the girls’ bathroom.

Perfesser Plum writes:

I have no doubt that an objective of the activist transgenderists and all-around sodomites is the destruction of the idea of gender identity and the institution of the traditional family. And of course, western civilization. They are totally-self-absorbed, arrogant, deranged in a certain way, and get off on making trouble. In other words, wicked.

But I respectfully disagree with Mark Jaws that they will succeed.

Because we have 10,000 years of evidence that heterosexual pair-bonding and male/female identity are not only written in our bones, but are biological imperatives. Most persons cannot help knowing that they ARE male or female, and that they would be most unhappy AS a man or woman if they were never bonded to their biological complement.

Let the transgenderists and gayists use whatever bathrooms they wish (oh, that we should be reduced to this! Bach on the one hand; bathroom choice on the other). The rest of us can simply walk out.

“It’s all yours!”

Let them marry. [I hate the adoption part. Human sacrifice.]

All their fussing and in-your-facing is attention-seeking behavior. If we paid it no mind–if we stopped pushing back–it would give them nothing to fight for.

“Go ahead, marry a door for all I care. Marry two doors, a chicken, and a ham on rye!”

The rest of us—the other 99.99 percent—will still go about our lives being men and women, looking for and making a life with our better half, and having children.

And if, G-d forbid, the social system collapses or we find ourselves in a massive war, all this nonsense will be, as they say, gone with the wind.

One day, Mr. Soros and the rest of them will be room temperature. Nature’s God will have its reckoning.

Laura writes:

Obviously, I disagree and would be wasting a good bit of my time if I thought the same way.

The point of transgender bathrooms is to normalize homosexuality and androgynism. They are tools of indoctrination. Same-sex “marriage” promotes homosexuality and exploits children.

According to Catholic doctrine, there are nine ways in which one is complicit in sin. (To be complicit means to be guilty of sin):

By counsel.
By command.
By consent.
By provocation.
By praise or flattery.
By concealment.
By being a partner in the sin.
By silence.
By defending the ill done.

Buck writes:

The ongoing destruction of the traditional family will continue until the “diversity” of “lifestyles” freak show tops out and there is some sort of reckoning. But, among who? We’ll be long gone. The changing demographics of this country will irreversably overwhelm the former white majority’s shrinking minority of traditional families. No matter how many of them or how many of any other traditional families survive, the future here, is not ours.

Perfesser Plum’s flippant “let them have it” attitude assures “that they will succeed” even sooner, contrary to what he says, but can’t really believe. To think that if “we,” an already diminished minority, also “paid it no mind,” along with the approaching majority, that they would stop pushing their agenda, is not serious.

Perfesser Plum’s “rest of us -the other 99.99 percent…” is laughable. On which planet? That is obviously, as he well knows, so far from reality, that he has either lost his grip on reality or he is poking fun at “the rest of us.” Which means, that he is also poking fun at the florists, bakers, and photographers who have “paid it some mind” and are now paying a serious penalty.

Laura writes:

Your view is too bleak.

There may be great chaos but the future belongs to Christ. There is no moral civilization without the true religion. Most people are simply being led through this. Demographics alone do not determine social order.

Buck writes:

You left out my last paragraph which is very relevant to the discussion.

Laura writes:

Oops. That was a mistake. Sorry.

Here it is:

Depending on which data set and how it’s stated, “traditional families” make up only seven percent of U.S. households, according to the U.S. Census. Most children, right now, and you would have to imagine, increasingly into our future; will never experience a traditional family and will go with some other model, perhaps artificial.

Even if far fewer people were raised in real families it would not destroy the desire for real families, which can never be destroyed because it is written in the human heart.
