For ages homosexuality has been regarded in most societies as taboo. Why would it have been taboo in the first place if societies hadn’t recognized that this is a highly problematic behavior which, for a significant number of people, lurks beneath the surface? Lift the taboo–indeed, glorify it, as we’re now doing–and is it really a surprise that we’re seeing more of it? “Born that way” indeed!

I suspect a good number of people are saying that only because sexual perversion is oh so fashionable these days.
In fact, I think 99 percent of the modern insanity is just an increasingly socially acceptable form of attention seeking that comes with instant validation from the culture. Of course, once unthinkable perversions become common place quickly, they must be superseded by even more bizarre and extreme things.
