December 11, 2015

WITH its latest anti-Catholic document, the Vatican II Robber Church reinforces its standing as the world’s largest branch of the Synagogue.

Michael writes:

The suggestion Jews cannot accept Jesus Christ as the universal redeemer but that nevertheless, “they have a part in salvation, because the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable,” is preposterous.

St Paul writes ( Colossians 3:11)  “Here there is no Gentile or Jew,..slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.“   This reality is being countered by saying  there will be no Jews  present for there is no need of them to be within the Church, and that another way of salvation remains.

This is actually discriminating against Jews by saying they cannot believe in Jesus Christ as redeemer.  Does the grace of God reach its limit with them?  Of course it doesn’t, it goes to them first but if they reject it then it is their loss for there is no gain without Christ.  It’s correct to say salvation is of the Jews meaning God chose that nation, which he formed via the faith of Abraham, but this cannot be understood as exempting them from responsibility to respond to the gospel. There is a  disconnect with the example and faith of the original Apostles, all Jews, for if they cannot now believe then they cannot be saved. A historical relationship to the Messiah does not guarantee salvation.

Laura writes:

If anything is “anti-Semitic,” it is the idea that Jews are excluded from Redemption in Christ, which is either universal or nothing.

Frank Rega writes:

The Gospel is to be preached to the Jew first.

Recently I posted on my blog the words of Our Lord Jesus Christ to St. Francis of Assisi: “Go and repair my house which as you see is falling completely into ruin.” Currently there is an urgent need to repair the Church’s attitude towards converting the Jews. St. Paul wrote that we should not be ashamed of the Gospel, for it brings salvation to those who believe, to the Jew first (Romans 1:16).
