The Obscenities of Trump
October 15, 2016
AT Christ of Chaos, Dr. Thomas Droleskey strongly condemns the indecent language of Donald Trump and those who dismiss it as mere “locker room talk:”
No matter Donald John Trump’s remarkable thrashing of the Republican political establishment, committed as it has long been to conserving the welfare state, plundering the national treasury, refusing to protect the innocent preborn or to secure our borders, and to engaging in one needless, immoral, unjust and unconstitutional war after another, none of this will matter to him at the moment of his Particular Judgment as he is accountable for the example that he sets for others. A presidential candidate whose throat is an open sepulcher in public helps to reinforce the acceptability of profanity and indecency that is so widespread today in every aspect of what is called “popular culture.” The innocence of children is thus further undermined and reinforced.
No one can “make America great again” by speaking profanely.
Sure, there is a lot of hypocrisy from those who adhere to the false opposite of the naturalist “left” about Donald John Trump’s vulgarity and indecency.
So what?
There is also a lot of hypocrisy from those who adhere to the false opposite of the naturalist “right” as thy seek to excuse Trump for saying things that they would never tolerate in a William Jefferson Blythe Clinton.
Also, see Dr. Droleskey, in the post “Jorge’s Kind of Catholics,” on the scandal of the “anti-Catholic” e-mails released by Wikileaks.
Update: While I also condemn Trump’s vulgarity, I do not share Dr. Droleskey’s view that we must not vote for him.

Paul C. writes:
The problem with the criticism of Trump about this recording is we all travel with different people, and some people are more crude than others. Based on a number of tell all books from Secret Service agents, the Clintons are the crudest modern politicians. The sex addict John F. Kennedy and the extremely crude Lyndon Johnson were modern presidents that the liberal Media did not expose. Johnson would hold meetings while sitting on the toilet. (Right out of Catch 22.) Trump’s talk, in my opinion, was childish rather than offensive. I have indeed heard such remarks from boys and men. I don’t know how many occurred in a locker room, but there were a lot that have occurred. Does that make Trump’s behavior equivalent to Kennedy or the Clintons? No.
I have a close friend who used to work at a fancy large law firm many years ago before he left and made much more money than any of them. He told me that the guy (someone I know and was in-law to another close friend) who hired him used to say loudly, “Hey MF!” and other obscenities in front of his female office staff. That was before computers when many female support people were needed. This was not an isolated incident. Others in the big firm did the same. That was the 80s. I was shocked, and so was my friend and his wife. We could not imagine such behavior. This man (who is a good guy by all accounts) and others were senior partners. Such behavior does not disqualify him from a big job.
It is only since Bill Clinton was elected in about 1992 that sexual harassment in the workplace became a big deal for hypocritical liberals who are at best no better than the rest of us when it comes to crudity. Because of Clinton’s awful character, the federal government began having sexual harassment “training” and “sensitivity” training about non-whites. It was insulting for many men and women—as if such behavior were routine. It was routine for some people, but it sure did not stop how the people talked in private. Worse, it stoked the current environment in which we are faced with exaggerated liberal and establishment anger over every misstep by a policeman or a politician. Liberals are white people who ally themselves with the various ethnic minorities in an effort to hold onto their religion. Make no mistake, the liberals’ allies want to retain their own cultures not the religion that liberals believe in. The establishment includes most Republican politicians (aka liberals), who simply want to keep their jobs.
