THE woman who was the chief plaintiff in Roe vs. Wade said her participation in the case was “the biggest mistake of my life.” She died last week at the age of 69.

She also said:

“I long for the day that justice will be done and the burden from all of these deaths will be removed from my shoulders.”

I spent some time reading about Norma McCorvey’s life recently and she had a very hard time of it. It seems she was being used by others for political purposes at a vulnerable, painful time.
