I wrote a short post about this at my kids’ private blog which I titled “Weimerican Freak Show.” As you know, many of us on the “dissident right” took to referring to the US as “Weimerica” several years back when this sort of thing began to inundate the culture and become “normalized.” I refer to the good ol’ “land of the free and home of the brave” as such fairly often, but my kids (my grown and married kids, I mean) aren’t of course as well read on the subject as I am, so in this particular post I added a link to an article that pretty much spells it all out and makes all the linkages.
