Fear of Advice
January 12, 2020

— Leonard Goffine, 1871

Considering the state of the Church in this Year of Our Lord 2020, to whom do you recommend we approach for advice concerning our spiritual welfare? God bless you.
Laura writes:
Thank you.
In answer to your question: For personal advice on things concerning our spiritual welfare, we can go to other Catholics faithful to the pre-Vatican II faith in its entirety. Since these are few in number, we have to rely on the treasures of wisdom in Scripture, pre-Vatican II Church teachings, and the wealth of apologetical works available for free on the Internet. You can find virtually almost every personal situation addressed in these books.
