What a truly amazing post! It does seem that one of the goals of Covid-19 was to destroy small business. I just went for a walk here in Olde Towne, Portsmouth. I ran into the lady who owns one of my favorite little restaurants on High Street, a family-owned and reasonably priced place. She said they will probably be going out of business; the lockdown has ruined them because they could not get by on “carry-out”. She also told me that the small, independent gym on High Street has gone out of business; I know the owner of the gym, and he was struggling to make a go of it even before the virus hysteria.
Then in my Inbox was an e-mail from Sentara Healthcare asking people to “keep lifting up our healthcare heroes.” Barf!
This is so totally insane. I see more and more people in the grocery store wearing masks now, fancy ones, some with the name of their favorite NFL team! Somebody is making money on masks – I’m sure they are available on Amazon!
The “experts” may debate whether there is such a thing as “herd immunity”, but it’s a certainty that there is widespread “herd stupidity.”
What can be done? I’m amazed that there are so few protests. The lousy $1200 bribe seems to be working.
Thanks so much for all your outstanding posts!

Thanks for your appreciation. Those stories are sad.
The Communists destroyed the kulaks by the millions through famine and purges. They were the hard-working, independent middle class. This was no accident. They were the only real check against centralized power.
This was meant to cripple the middle class.
