Face Mask Causes Crash

April 25, 2020

THE face mask collects dirt and causes people to touch their faces more often. It can be harmful in other ways. Here’s an extreme example. Police in New Jersey say a driver wearing a face mask crashed due to oxygen deprivation.

Ha! I hate to ‘make light’ of this stupidity of wearing masks and its inevitable consequences, but I happen to know a little bit of something about it given the business I am in. This is an extreme example, but it applies in any case. Given that I work in construction and have worked in construction for many years, I have as well worn face masks in the process of doing various jobs. Those jobs include sanding drywall, and grinding concrete floors. Ultimately what I wound up doing – because wearing face masks (even positive-pressure face masks) is inherently problematic – was to invest in a 270 cfi super-duper shop vac with the suction capacity to eliminate about 98% (or so they say) of the dust created by way of sanding/grinding. Even the filters on that thing clog up eventually, but the one I own is called a “pulse vac” because its ingenious design is such that it clears the filters every few seconds so that they don’t stop up, or, more appropriately, that the inevitability of their stopping up is delayed for … hours.

Now, I’ll just inform your readers that, with respect to the car accident purportedly blamable on the wearing of a face mask while driving, that the report is not all that far fetched. Breathing one’s own exhale is poisonous in and of itself. And if you think you can wear a ‘surgical mask’ for any length of time, and at the same time avoid breathing your own CO2 exhale, you’re a pretty ignorant, and/or stupid individual. If you happen to wear glasses and a face mask at the same time, and are driving with both these on, well…

Wearing a ‘surgical mask’ is essentially the equivalent of climbing into the “death zone” of Mount Everest and making a ‘push for the summit.’ If you’re going to walk about in the general public at essentially 28,000 plus feet altitude, you’re a danger to yourself and to the general public that the danger of being infected with COVID-19 can’t even begin to touch.

Not only do face masks reduce air flow, they can seriously interfere with visibility and that can be especially dangerous for the elderly.

We’ll have to add “death by face mask” to the mounting toll of the Corona Coup.

Radical Muslims must love the term “facial COVERINGS” as well as the fact that Western women are now finally shame-faced enough to nearly meet their standard of modesty – as they hide any beauty of countenance in the public square.
