I have been a reader for a while now, and appreciate your perspective on many topics.  We may not always agree, but it is refreshing to come to your site for perspective, especially in the latest national and world events.  You correctly describe the “crisis” as a coup.  I couldn’t agree more.  I read once, perhaps on your site, that “evil will always tell you what it’s doing.”  This is so true in today’s events.  No matter how many times we read the “death toll” of this supposedly pervasive threat to our well-bring, the numbers struggle to reach even a couple of hundred deaths in most states.  Yet, we are told the numbers are “spiking” and “climbing” as if we must all be in a panic!  I daresay more people have been killed in car accidents or by lightning strikes than have actually died directly from COVID.    I think the fact that our society has become so God-less over the past generation has helped to create the fear of dying in so many.  They try to hold on to this life because they think that is all there is, and perhaps are fearful that it isn’t.

We have a friend who recently had lung surgery for cancer.  He was a former heavy smoker for many years, who quit within the last year.  Part of his lung was removed about six months ago.  Recently he was tested for COVID and told he tested positive.  In spite of this, within less than a week, he was feeling fine!  No ventilator, no hospitalization!  This is the ONLY person I know of to be “COVID positive”, and he would seem to be in a high-risk category for problems, and he is just fine!  Of course, we had prayed for his health, and God is the Healer of our bodies.  But this also points to the elephant in the room – the medical community wants to withhold what could be a vetted treatment, while simultaneously telling us there’s nothing we can do!  We must all hide in our homes, under threat of punishment and fines!  We also know that the powers that be have put in writing that all deaths are to be somehow linked to COVID, and we will NEVER hear stories like our friend’s on the news.

I couldn’t agree with you more that Donald Trump is the reason this hoax has been allowed to be perpetrated.  He retweets “#FireFauci” as if he is imploring someone else to do the firing!  This is his JOB!  Then he turns around and says he has power over the governors!  Our Constitution was intended to protect us from this sort of tyranny!

Why doesn’t President Trump simply say to Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx, “Thank you very much, we’ll take it from here?” Why are “guidelines” being enforced as criminal law? Why do governors think they suddenly have authority to restrict our First Amendment right to assemble, speak, and worship?  Do we no longer believe that we are endowed by our CREATOR with these rights, and not the government?

I am a Bible-believing Christian, and I am struggling with this.  I believe these “Executive Orders” which once applied only to those government agencies and regulated private entities within a governor’s legal authority, should be challenged in court!  I was relieved to hear that in Kansas the restriction on attending worship services received an injunction from the court, but why stop at that?  Why not seek an injunction for the whole order, in every state?  It is fine with me if people believe they are protecting themselves by wearing homemade masks in public, but I refuse to do so.  It is pointless, junk science, with no basis in fact or evidence.  If the mask (especially a homemade one) was so effective, why haven’t doctors used them for years as they see dozens of sick patients every day, day in day out?  And a mask is also a breeding ground for infection, as it creates the perfect environment for nasties to thrive on the skin and nasal passages.  Suffice it to say, I was once a supporter of Donald Trump, but perhaps he has proven to be the perfect Manchurian Candidate.

Great comment. My hope is that there are lawsuits against these governors for violation of the first amendment.   Trump’s performance has been abysmal, I agree.

My deepest disappointment is with the American people. The reaction of most of the country was to believe obvious nonsense. For instance, in our county of 1.5 million, there have been 89 deaths. That’s not a medical catastrophe in any way.

If there would have been more people to say, “Hey wait a minute..” Those governors would not have done what they did, or would have reversed sooner. But I even saw people on local social media, BEG to be quarantined and shut down. One woman wrote, “Our Governor is a doctor! We want to be told what to do!”

You are doing a great service for your readers with the extra briefings you are providing in the wake of COVID. Thank you.I have been thinking – the government and its scientific flunkies have been saying from the start that “there has never been anything (seen) like this (virus) before”. That is a good fear-inducing statement, but it’s a logical fallacy.

How do these experts know this? Who of them has been on this earth since the Great Flood to make such a claim? But if they mean that this is unlike any ‘natural’ virus that has been seen since the invention of microscopes, then they have a lot more explaining to do. So far we have a far less-than-pandemic number of serious respiratory illnesses, fewer deaths and alot of playing with statistics. These little science gods seem to know a lot less than they assume. The media will just keep switching stories, keeping the world at a halt because of a microbe that some honest virologists say has probably mutated out of any “gained function” anyhow. The axe has to fall somewhere.

I understand that the NIH used Fauci to funnel 3.7 million dollars to the BSE4 lab in Wuhan, which makes the US government complicit with China in this nasty enterprise at some level; Pharma and WHO are at the top of it.

Only the truth sets one free. If those in the know wont tell it, then we just need to reckon it out as best we can from the dots we have been given to connect, and act bravely for ourselves, because without truth, we will be locked down by liars indefinitely.
