I sympathize with the tenor of your post, but I must ask, do you know of any American “leaders” (scare quotes definitely intentional!) who are not actively working to destabilize this country and its most sacred beliefs? If so, you’ve definitely got ‘one up’ on me. I don’t endorse foreign influences in our elections nor any of that, but I would point out that this sort of thing we ‘Americans’ are ‘up to our necks in’ and then some. As I recall (perhaps wrongly) you’ve written about it before, as have I. The Federalist Papers discuss this inevitability (of foreign intrigue) in our (open) elections explicitly, declaring that the ‘mode’ of election of the President is, if not perfect, very close to it. The “mode” of course meaning the electoral college method. As per Vladimir Putin and his ilk, Heritage Americans know instinctively that he is standing for his people and their way of life. That is not a bad thing in and of itself.

Thanks, but my point is that Putin is not better (in fact, he’s worse) or some kind of Christian leader.

I wasn’t thinking about interference in our elections. I was thinking of active encouragement of the cultural revolution in America and imperial ambitions against America. Here’s a good place to start for understanding crypto-Soviet subversion. Demonizing the West as satanically corrupt in order to overtake it is a strategy of Putin’s Russia.

Really? Standing for his people? If staging phony elections, rigging referenda results, glorifying murderous Communism, assassinating one’s opponents, supporting globalist oligarchy, jailing dissidents and seizing one-man rule for the next 16 years is working for his people, I guess I don’t possess that instinctive knowledge.
