Is There a Doctor in the House?

You might find this interesting, although predictable.

Since I cannot meet my doctor, I e-mailed her office and asked for a phone consultation to do with my ongoing, but regulated, anemia. She called me from the privacy and comfort of her own home, getting paid the same as she would sitting in her office. Her call was tagged as “Private Call,” and I almost didn’t answer it.

I wrote in the e-mail that the masks were obstructing what I believe to be a normal flow of oxygen. I wore these masks religiously in malls and indoor public locations for about three months.

Recently I was feeling dizzy, which had previously been a symptom of my anemia.

During the conversation, this pleasant, intelligent, and dedicated doctor told me that I should wear the mask, but avoid going to public places as much as possible – i.e., just stay home. “Still wear your mask at all occasions” was her advice.

Then, she slipped this: “You might be having problems with all the re-circulating air behind the mask.” In other words, all that gunk from the mask, those horrible particles of plastic and God-knows-what-else we’re breathing in, as well as the CO2 which we breathe out, is trapped behind the mask.

Plus, most people recycle that same old dirty mask. Each mask pack of five costs about $5. Who can afford to throw out a dollar each and every time we go outside? That’s about $15 a week (2/day),  $60/month, $720/year, which we spend FOR NO REASON AT ALL. It’s like throwing out money, good money.

She KNOWS this is medically and scientifically unsound, and yet she still “recommends” that I avoid going mask-less, and go out only when there are few people around. Late at night? Early dawn?

These people have a lot to answer for. “Do No Harm” is the oath they swore by when accepted into the medical profession.

I read with interest your post.

My husband’s doctor’s office at the VA will not let him in the door without a mask, nor will his general family practitioner, who is also mine.  They will not allow a face guard as an alternative either.

I had an appointment last June, scheduled for a year, for my annual physical.  When I arrived I was informed that I must wear a mask at all times, in the waiting room and in my appointment.  I said I could not wear a mask, and asked if I could still keep my long-standing appointment.  The receptionist asked me twice if they could just give me a mask to wear there, and both times I declined, both times explaining that I could not wear it.  She called back to the doctor who refused to see me without a mask.  They made a new appointment for September.

I called in advance of the appointment this September, and was told I still needed a mask, and I could not wear a face shield.  This time I asked to speak with a practice manager.  I was told that absolutely they will not allow any patients in without a mask.  They require staff to wear a mask and a shield for their own protection.  She explained that they are allowed to go above and beyond the governor’s mandate, which is “face coverings” to the more stricter version, “masks.” She also explained this mask rule is that of the multi-state health system ( not just their practice), for which my doctor is an employee. I replied that their policy is discriminating against a group of patients that cannot wear masks. She did not seem to care.  I really hope they get sued, but honestly, I don’t hear of a lot of lawyers jumping on these kind of issues.

Essentially the only option for me now is health care with my primary by Zoom, which is what I resorted to for a knee problem recently (kind of ludicrous, holding my knee up to the computer camera).  I do NOT have an option of an annual physical, because if I cannot wear a mask, I cannot see the doctor in person, and they don’t now get reimbursed for a Zoom physical, so will not even provide a physical by Zoom (which is what my September appointment was set up for at my canceled June appointment).  So even though I pay a huge amount of money for health insurance, and try my best to take care of my health, I cannot get an annual physical!  Outrageous!

By the way, my husband asked his/our primary doctor a few months ago to write him a note exempting him from wearing a mask, which makes him feel anxious.  The doctor’s response?  Get counseling!!  (No doubt the doctor cared not to reference the research indicating mask wearing triggers the nervous system that the brain is not getting enough oxygen, in turn triggering an anxiety response.)

Talking with these Covidian health care practitioners and administrators is like talking to the wall.  There is no reason, and there is no compassion or understanding for the situation of the patient.  “Health care” is now too generous a term. It is medical tyranny.

Once again, the medical profession is proving itself to be part of the brainless herd.  They are in a unique position to stand up against the steamroller of tyranny pushing every person into an unhealthy practice of covering one’s face and avoiding contact with others.  Instead of using their leverage to resist the ridiculous mask mandates, they are going full-on into the insanity!  I know many RN’s personally, and my understanding is that some of their initial training involves the precept to NOT wear a mask!  If RN’s are trained this way, surely doctors are, too.  Otherwise, one would have seen over the years in the busy GP’s offices, where dozens of sick people are seen every day, or in the urgent care practices, where the most contagious and ill individuals are treated for health crises, or in the ER’s, masks being worn every day, faithfully, over the years.  But this was not the case, until recently – when mass(-k) insanity and tyranny has taken hold.

Why were masks not ubiquitous in earlier months, years?  Well, of course, it is because they are unhealthy, uncomfortable, unattractive, and uncalled-for!

[NOTE to SB:  My doctor’s office has treated me in a similar fashion.  I was scheduled for a visit recently, which required personal contact due to the nature of the visit.  I called a couple of days ahead, and was told the same – that I must wear a mask or face covering.  When I questioned this policy, and provided evidence compiled over decades from studies that showed that masks weren’t advisable, even for health care workers, I was encouraged to leave the practice and find another.  I agreed, then received a certified letter from the practice “dismissing me for noncompliance with their covid-19 policy”!  Their actions may hinder me receiving medical care from another practice as they have libeled and defamed me.  My (Christian) lawyer has written to them to request they apologize to me and remove this libelous statement from my files, as I never personally showed up at their door, and agreed to leave the practice, thus did not “fail to comply”, and no need to “dismiss” me.

They refused to respond to the first request, and tried to libel me further.  The second letter is awaiting a response, but they have been informed that their libel will not be allowed to stand and they (the practice and particular employees responsible) will be held personally liable in a court of law for damages caused by their actions.

My dentist’s office, on the other hand, responded positively to my request not to wear a mask in the office, and because of their gracious response, I brought my teenagers to their practice (from another mask-requiring one).

Don’t give up!  Do what is right, and that includes protecting your health and your rights by refusing to comply with this ridiculous mandate.  Even if it costs you something, such as attorney’s fees, it will be a small price to pay for one’s freedom.  It may not be too expensive to simply have a lawyer write a letter, and see what kind of response you get.  At least you will have peace of mind knowing you stood up to the tyranny.  I think of legal fees for this type of situation as a kind of insurance premium for my liberty and resulting well-being, both physical and mental.

It is clear that we are on our own, and that we can’t count on the average GP to help us to fight.  Only God Himself will help. He is all we need.  I am praying for your strength and courage in this difficult time.]

Fortunately, there are doctors resisting.

Doctors in Tulsa have filed a federal lawsuit against the mask “mandates” in Oklahoma.

“Loyal” writes:

I am grateful for those among the scientific and medical community who are standing up, including “America’s Frontline Doctors”, as well as doctors and scientists in France, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, Brazil, and many other countries around the world.  They are being ignored by the diabolical powers that be in this world.  We must continue to stand up, and never forget that we are not alone.

May the Oklahoma doctors prevail, and may they encourage their peers throughout the country and the world to resist the tyranny being leveled upon them and their patients in the name of “protecting” them (what a laugh!).

On another encouraging note, I had the occasion to chat with an official in a world-renowned pharmaceutical company recently.  She said her boss was not interested in joining the “bandwagon” to develop a vaccine for the SARS allegedly caused by covid-19 until more data comes in to justify it.  It was truly refreshing to hear!

Thanks!

The practice manager for my doctor also told me that some of their employees are scared of the coronavirus and they want to “protect” them as well, requiring all employees to wear masks AND shields, and requiring all patients to wear masks. (I did not mention this in my narrative, as I navigated stupid; I needed to reserve my responses for the most stupid statements.)

I wanted to tell her that perhaps they should find another job!  In other words, hasn’t it been their job all along to deal with sick patients all day?  Do they not have an immune system?  Did they not look at the recent research indicating the low mortality rates of coronavirus?  Do they not care about locking their patients who can’t wear a mask out of needed health care?  As mentioned, there is no reason.  And most doctors are nothing more than employees of large corporations, not free to make their own decisions, medical or otherwise.

Laura writes:

So instead of alleviating their employees’ fears with facts, they are encouraging their fears?!

Nah, they’re not really concerned about their employees. They’re just afraid to be different. Cowards.
