Dr. Himmelfarb was writing about the revolutionary effects that computers and the Internet would have in libraries, most notably the destructive effects on traditional, linear thought, and the promotion of relativism and hatred of thought in the name of “postmodernism.”
Maybe it was the other way around; maybe Derrida was an agent for Gates.
At this point whether it was conspiracy or convergence hardly matters. I think it more likely that they were working in parallel to weaken Americans’ confidence in the philosophical-intellectual-political tenets of Western Civilization as a prelude to establishing a Totalitarian World Government with Gates and his Communist cronies at the top.
