If Mrs Trump has carried this belief with her throughout her life, then she has believed a lie for a very long time. The unborn child is not a tumor or an abscess. It is a separate human being, albeit dependent upon the mother for survival, just like a newborn is, or a 6 month old is, or a yr old infant is. We do not say that infants outside the body are part of the woman, yet the basic situation is the same. In most cases of abortion, the mother DID have the opportunity to control her own body, and chose to risk pregnancy.That was where she needed to “choose”, not later when her own behavior resulted in the conception of a person whose existence is inconvenient.
