Today increasing attention is being given to the role of secret societies in world affairs, due in part to the “coincidence” of the United States presidential race of 2004, in which both candidates, Republican George W. Bush and Democrat John F. Kerry, publicly admitted membership in the same secret society, known as the Order of Skull and Bones. This necromantic Order received temporary prominence in 2004 as part of the ongoing orchestration of covert control of the masses. As journalists David Wise and Thomas B. Ross wrote in their landmark exposé of U.S. intelligence, The Invisible Government:
“There are two governments in the United States today. One is visible. The other is invisible. The first is the government that citizens read about in their newspapers and children study about in their civics books. The second is the interlocking, hidden machinery….The Invisible Government is not a formal body. It is a loose, amorphous grouping of individuals and agencies…”
The control of the masses indeed possesses an exoteric level, the illusion of which is taught in civics classes and played out before us in the media in the form of elections, campaigns and public laws. The far more important side of government, however, is the esoteric, which at the highest level involves a manipulation of the mass consciousness with a watchful eye, by a network of psychological power brokers, the “Invisible Government of Wise and Ross,” later described by Walter Bowart in his 1978 classic, Operation Mind Control, as the “Cryptocracy.” The Cryptocracy is not a myth, it seeks to transform humanity through an alchemical processing of the mass consciousness or Group Mind which involves various tests and corresponding responses through channels linked to secret societies. The result is both psychological and cultural control; but more importantly, transformation. The Cryptocracy has essentially kept the mind of the masses cooking in a cauldron like a Renaissance alchemist, and occasionally tastes, adds ingredients, and stirs.
Yet while the Order of Skull and Bones is currently driving the busload of squabbling, dumbed-down “Goyim,” another secret society is processing them, as it processed the 60s generation, and the elite intellectuals since the early years of the 20th century — in the alchemist’s beaker known as education. Modern education possesses a formal side, as exhibited in the public schools, and an extremely important informal side which includes the all-important amorphous “school” called pop culture, whose school desks are sofas situated in front of plasma television screens and whose guest lecturers are DVDs, or — at least at one time— science fiction novels. The secret society to which I am referring heavily impacted both Sci-Fi and Hollywood, helping to sow seeds of transformation in the mass psyche.
In addition, this Order maintained its status and membership and even worked depraved rituals among military and intelligence channels, all the while possessing important ties to the heart of the space program. This multifaceted but powerful cult numbered among its leaders the British Intelligence Officer Aleister Crowley (1875-1947), the self-styled “Great Beast 666.” It was Crowley, dubbed “The Wickedest Man in the World” by theEnglish paper John Bull, who gave this secret society its most potent modern shape and direction, effectively recreating it in his own bestial image. It has since adapted and grown, taking an increasingly decentralized and laidback outer form, while remaining indelibly stamped with the legacy of the Beast.
The organization to which I am referring is known by many names, in Latin it is called the Ordo Templi Orientis; in German, the Orientalischer Templer-Orden and in English, the “Order of Oriental Templars.” But its most widely recognized appellation is simply the “OTO.” The OTO currently has lodges and “power zones” across the world, including Israel, Russia and South America, and still claims to be the “graduate school” for the old prototypical fraternal order and “service club” known as the Freemasons.
