Covid Theater

Regarding your latest posts, a few brief observations:
Since Amazon, Netflix, Facebook, etc., seem to have benefitted enormously from Corona lockdowns, isn’t it obvious that it makes them interested in promoting “Corona” panic?
Bezos in particular has become the greatest “Corona King“, as locking people inside their homes and destroying small shops has benefited him enormously. He is also the owner of the Washington Post, which keeps publishing news about “corona panic.” Isn’t that a conflict of interest? Or are we supposed to think that it is just a coincidence, and not ask, “Cui bono”?
Regarding the elderly in the care homes, that breaks my heart. ““I’d rather die of Covid than loneliness.” What could be more sad than that?
But this does not happen only in care homes. Due to travel restrictions, many people also cannot visit their elderly parents if they live in a different country. Or even if they live in the same country, many people don’t visit their parents or grandparents due to the media-promoted fear of “contaminating” them and killing them, even though they might not have any disease.
This whole “Corona” thing has in many cases separated families and, in particular, cruelly isolated the elderly. In some cases, old people were forced to die alone without even being able to see or say goodbye to their loved ones. You are right that those responsible should be criminally prosecuted.
And it is not even clear what was the purpose of this whole lockdown and travel restrictions, since the “virus is now surging again.” Even if one takes this affirmation at face value, it just proves that lockdown doesn’t work in the long term (unless the idea is: “It didn’t work, let’s try again”). The only thing clear for now is that it seems to have benefited a few people, like Bezos and some politicians.
