LA Fires in January?

Just a quick note to tell you that I lived in California for 33 years from age 21 to 54 and never in those years did we experience a fire in January. Fire season was in late summer, usually September, the only time temperatures would reach 100 degrees. And then the Santa Ana winds would come in — but never heard of them in January — ever!!!
It’s all weather manipulation and land grabbing just like Maui. It makes me sick.
My heart aches for those very poor people who lost their homes. Not all homes were Hollywood/elitist homes.
My two cents.

I have no experience of living in the LA area, but I have to agree with the writer.
I also agree with the observation made by Peggy Hall and others, that the constant drumming on the “incompetence” and failure of these set-up caricatures of officialdom in the face of such catastrophes is deliberately created distraction. It gets us to analyze personalities rather than focus on facts. This ongoing series of outlandish, horrific events is occurring, or at least is being exacerbated due to the work of various government agencies, and we aren’t supposed to notice that.
Many who take an interest know that “Build Back Better” is a vintage communist term for demolishing tradition out of existence, or making a good or benign thing into something worse. Communists are masters of the language of contradiction and deceit. The Puppets-Who-Run-Things promised to do just that! Still, we demand more, better government from them!
Huh? What?
They told us exactly who they are – how come so many don’t believe them?
As always, thanks very much, Laura.
