 I have some basic thoughts on how the alleged assassination of Charlie Kirk fits in with American tradition.

First let me ask, Who benefits? Why now?

The whole industry of false nationalism benefits from this event, an industry which more and more people are seeing through, especially after being so repeatedly betrayed by Donald Trump, who wouldn’t be where he is if the media had not so often attacked him, thereby making him seem somehow anti-establishment. The Republican Party, which has left the American people in the dust again and again, benefits. An assassination, endlessly discussed and promoted by the media, valorizes the victim and his cause.
