PRESIDENT TRUMP'S restoration of the Mexico City Policy which forbids federal funding of foreign abortions is not cause for jubilation, writes Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey. President Trump has been absolutely fearless in vowing to build a border wall and restoring the rule of law at the border between the United States of America and the United Mexican States, and his demand that so-called “sanctuary cities” simply obey Federal immigration law has been met with a firestorm of opposition from those cities’ self-righteous “mayors” who countenance law-breaking when it suits their ideological purposes of social engineering. Mayors such as Rahm Emanuel of the murder-infested city named Chicago, Illinois, and Warren Wilhelm/“Bill de Blasio” of the nation’s abortion capital, the City of New York, New York, have expressed defiance of the new president in order to persist in their violations of the rule of law. However, Dr. Droleskey continues: ... President Donald John Trump’s restoration of the Mexico City Policy according to the terms included in then President George Walker Bush’s executive order of January 22, 2001, represents yet another needless concession that there are circumstances in which innocent preborn children may be put to death lawfully with funding provided by American taxpayer dollars. NO president of the United States has ever mentioned Jesus Christ in his inaugural address. That includes Donald Trump.

If you believe it is good enough for a president to include some generic reference to a Divine Creator in his address then this makes sense to you. But if you believe that Christ, being the True Redeemer of humanity, has rightful authority over all civil government — and can do as He wills with nations, then this state of affairs amounts to dangerous national apostasy.

ELLEN BROWN, author of Web of Debt, proposes an economical way to finance Trump's $1 trillion infrastructure plan. If the Trump $1 trillion infrastructure plan were funded at 2% over 10 years, the interest tab would come to only $200 billion, nearly $1 trillion less than the $1.18 trillion expected by private equity investors. Not only could residents save $1 trillion over 10 years on tolls and fees, but they could save on taxes, since the interest would return to the government, which owned the bank. In effect, the loans would be nearly interest-free to the government.

  THE main group of inauguration protestors was infiltrated by Project Veritas, a group of conservative activists, and the plans for extreme disruption were abandoned after they were reported in advance to the police. The Washington Post reports: Law enforcement authorities said they think that the successful penetration of DisruptJ20, an umbrella organization for a number of groups that police said sought to wreak havoc at the inauguration, forced it to abandon plans to try to shut down Metro trains and block entrances into the District, according to two law enforcement officials with knowledge of the investigation. I spent my 20s struggling with the morals of my traditional Catholic background and the overwhelming Jewish feminist influence of the world. THE color pink — at least the bright shade that has been adopted by feminists and that unfortunately is so prevalent in mainstream children’s clothing today — has become politically symbolic.

It stands for Girl Power.

It stands, at least in the minds of some of us, for self-glorification.

It stands for socialism and the expansion of the State.

It’s a small thing, and admittedly it won’t change the world. But try to avoid this once happy and cheerful color in your daughter’s clothing. Pink, used to nauseating excess in last weekend’s Women’s March, is normally identified with femininity, at least in the West. (In Japan, it has a masculine association, symbolizing warriors fallen in battle.) It’s a clever trick because the last thing these agitators are protecting is femininity.

Pink has also come to be dominant in manufactured clothing for girls in recent decades. The more masculine women are encouraged to become, the more they adopt certain forms of outwardly extreme femininity.

In his very first pro-life action, President Donald Trump signed an executive order today reinstating the “Mexico City Policy” banning government funding of foreign pro-abortion groups like the International Planned Parenthood Federation.

A cultural political football, the policy was first enacted by President Ronald Reagan in 1984 and was maintained by President George H.W. Bush until it was rescinded first by Democratic President Bill Clinton in 1993. Eight years later, President George W. Bush reinstated Mexico City and it was in effect until Barack Obama reversed it upon entering office in 2009.

The Mexico City Policy bans funding to organizations that perform abortions overseas or lobby for legalizing them in foreign nations. (more…)

IN A rare display of courage and common sense, an Italian Novus Ordo Archbishop, Monsignor Carlo Liberati, recently criticized the country's unrestrained welcome to Muslim migrants: "We help without delay those coming from outside and we forget many poor and old Italians who are eating from the trash. We need policies that take care of Italians first: our young people and the unemployed. “I am a protester. If I were not a priest, I’d be out there demonstrating in the squares. What is the point of so many migrants that instead of thanking for the food we give them, they just throw it, spend hours with their cell phones and even organise riots?” Liberati even accused the Catholic church of donating too much money to the recent migrants. "He said: “Giving money to migrants wandering around town is not only wrong, but morally harmful because we encourage their behaviour and they get used to that, not mentioning the fact that we already feed them."

  DAN R. writes: The "highlight" of the Women's March was probably the Ashley Judd rendition of "I Am a Nasty Woman," a spoken-word poem written by Nina Donovan, a 19-year old sociology major from Tennessee and a part-time worker at Dunkin' Donuts. Reading the words of this poem, the amount of politically-correct clichés compacted into a relatively small space is almost mind-boggling. Worse has been the enthusiastic reception by liberal women, at least some of whom you'd think might have second thoughts upon reading it. FROM The Asian Correspondent: A FORMER FBI employee in New York was sentenced to two years in prison on Friday after admitting that he illegally acted at the direction of a Chinese official to gather sensitive information. Kun Shan Chun, also known as Joey Chun, was also ordered by U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero in Manhattan to pay $10,000 after pleading guilty in August to having illegally acted as an agent of a foreign government. “I’m so sorry,” a tearful Chun said in court. “I take full responsibility.” Chun, a U.S. citizen who was born in China, was arrested in March in connection with what prosecutors called a duplicitous betrayal of the FBI, which had employed him in its New York field office since 1997.
