Charlie Denounces the Catholic Church

LESS THAN TWO months before his “death,” Charlie Kirk publicly denounced the Catholic Church, including the veneration of Mary, the primacy of the papacy and Transubstantiation.

“I find biblical evidence that Mary was sinful as all the rest of us.”

I bring this to your attention because of absolutely ludicrous claims by professed Catholics that Kirk was tending to conversion. It’s important to note that Kirk was not denouncing the Modernist Vatican, but longstanding dogmas of the Church.

Charlie did not point out, by the way, that a faith based entirely on the Bible — which is a compilation of the Catholic Church —  is not in the Bible either. Protestantism is not biblical.

This is not the only occasion on which Kirk attacked the Catholic Church. He also said that Christ never came to found an institution, only a personal relationship with each individual. I will not go into detail here on these matters, but again what he says is not biblical. Also, to be fair, his comments on these issues amount to standard Protestant apologetics and are not unusual in that regard.

Thank you, Laura, for pointing this out.

I’ve been telling so many Catholic friends who are praising Kirk that he was not a true Christian. He was the opposite. He denied the [Mystical] Body of Christ.

No wonder the Sanhedrin loves him. Keep up the good work on this important topic. The powers that be are leading the few remaining faithful away.

There is so much false and misleading, very anti-Christian sentimentality surrounding this event. For instance, the remarks by Charlie’s friends and supporters that he has been received into the arms of Jesus. Gimme a break!! No true Christian talks this way when it comes to the death of an adult! A Christian prays for the soul of the deceased in humility and thanksgiving. He doesn’t presume to know God’s judgements. All in all, this sentimental Protestantism is a monstrous offense to the majesty of God. Please, say some prayers for these blasphemous people.

With apologies to my Protestant friends, I have to say these beliefs turn people into imbeciles and zombies. You might as well go ahead and get a lobotomy if you’re going to join one of these sects and show up at their weekly concerts and love-ins. They have no concept of reverence and piety. Their theology is riddled with glaring contradictions and irrationality. Their reliance on the sacred authority of the Catholic Church to get their Scriptures is nothing but blatant plagiarism. Every truth that they spread they have gotten from the Catholic Church and the blood of its martyrs. Charlie, says, “Oh, I love Catholics.” He better love ’em, because he would have nothing of truth to say without them.

It’s not surprising that Kirk was friends with Jerry Falwell. Both fit into the tradition of circuit-traveling, charismatic Protestant preachers, fastening on the weaknesses of the people to spread half-truths and make a buck or create a cult movement. Not that Charlie didn’t say some good things and wasn’t genuine or courageous in his beliefs, but where he was wrong, he was very wrong and his biggest financial supporters were not even Protestants. They were Talmudists who abhor Jesus. Think about that. Why would Steve Wynn, for instance, the Jewish casino and real estate developer, give Charlie Kirk’s organization half a million bucks in one year? Why? Oh, I guess it was because he loves Jesus too, right?

It’s interesting that Charlie had time for theological commentary on the Catholic Church. Did he expend the same amount of time on the Talmud? After all, it was the formative doctrine of the country Charlie said was the best country in the world: Israel.

LOL.

I call it the apparent establishment of a network of proto-One World Religion “Churches”.

Fellowshippy, community and activities focused, all mentions of Christ are of “A relationship with” variety. I’ve always wondered what that meant, besides reducing the Son of God to “Buddy Jesus”. Jesus Christ died an agonizing death to redeem us, and forgive our sins. We are His. Unless we reject that. “Relationship with Jesus” strikes me as trivializing, worldly, self-focused and presumptuous. The Apostles and Blessed Mother had personal relationships with Jesus, we have something different, more abstract and Spiritual.

Anyway, “The Dream City Church”: the name is weird, New Agey, and the building is just a big box.

I like to look at the names of churches: “The Family Church”, “***** Branch Fellowship”, there’s a “Congregational Church” near me that actually sports a weathervane (!!!) on a cupola on the roof. There was a fast food restaurant nearby that used to hold Sunday Services in their dining room on Sundays, my husband used to call it “The Church of the Hut”. So many people searching, but unwilling to hear the hard teachings, and scandalized away from the One, True Faith.
