THE Contemplative Observer has must-read commentary on the highly-significant meeting between Trump and Putin in Alaska on August 15th:
The whole world is now watching, both friend and foe. A desperate struggle has begun, between the free world and Europe on one side and the communist bloc on the other, for the heart and soul of America! If Trump indeed keeps selling out to Moscow (and he already has by stopping financial aid for Ukraine), we might soon see a dreadful cascade of events that could eventually put the entire planet on fire. Let us hope and pray that these communist monsters in Moscow will not laugh last. They and the Chinese may think they already own Europe and the whole free world, but no matter what Trump is doing, a tiger has now awoken, and all you deluded MAGA folks running after Putin, the fake Christian: Don’t you underestimate the soul of Europe. It has nearly died off in the last half century or more, but it is still alive and is now being revived. No alt-right nonsense. No fascist-imperialist fantasies. No European Union centralism. Instead, we will shortly see a revival of genuine French, British, German, Italian etc. self-esteem and determination to live, as individual nations assisting and supporting each other. Naturally they are decades behind the mad military arsenals of Moscow, but they are now reigniting their old spirit of aristocratic times (they may not even be aware of it yet) and are willing to stand up to the Red menace.
