There are those who deeply suspect Church leaders’ treachery, and those certain of Church leaders’ obtuseness. I have found myself singing hymns in the pews of both.

It doesn’t matter much, really. I wouldn’t trouble yourself about it. Whether it’s treachery or obtuseness, it’s still heresy, embedded in the new religion of Vatican II.
