“CHARLIE Kirk’s entire career was about manipulating American Christian values, flipping them on their head, [pressuring] people to believe the opposite of what right-wingers have always believed. At least, that was his main goal before October 7th, at which point he pretty much just only talked about Israel and how we have to support them genociding Gazans or we will have Sharia Law in America.”

Ugh…the constant, intense stream of psychological manipulation by news outlets seems to be ‘breaking the brains’ of even the most politically agnostic!
I am not sure what the truth is about Charlie Kirk, but it looks like the media divide-and-conquer strategy is continuing to work well, creating further splintering of social cohesion so that even traditionally-minded people are turning on one another in the wake of this story. Fear, anger and hate are rising to the point where those who say they are are proudly pro-liberty and freedom of speech are actually on social media calling for gun-banning and rounding up the “Libs”! We are cracking under the strain of “news” fatigue!
And no one seems to want to hear that maybe after processing news like this, be it true or false, we should make a well thought out response, then turn to our everyday life and quit obsessing on it. Charlie Kirk was a media figure who had no real impact on 99.9% of the American people; the same percentage had never even met him.. But I am told that remark is considered “unsympathetic”. I don’t believe it is.

Mission accomplished.
