I’m not even sure this “guy” conducts the Vienna Philharmonic much at all. Between Montreal, the Met, and Philadelphia, how would he have the time? Karajan he is not.

Presumably he’s reasonably competent. I don’t find that to be implausible. I am simply not interested.
